The value of safety can be expressed in many different ways. It can be calculated socially, economically, and ethically. It is not for these reasons, though, that many safety practitioners choose to enter the profession. Many of us do what we do because we know what happens when work is performed without safety as a value. We work diligently so that our coworkers return to friends and family happy and healthy every day.

BCSP is initiating a new social media campaign using the #CertifiedToProtect hashtag. It is an invitation to share with us, your colleagues, and the world the value you find in safety and safety certification.
If you have a story about when the value of safety resonated strongly with you, share it publicly with the #CertifiedToProtect hashtag. Using the hashtag, you can express to others your excitement after passing your BCSP certification examination. You might also use it to connect with other BCSP certificants or volunteer to mentor those aspiring to join the safety profession.
