Government Partnerships
The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) provides SH&E professionals pertinent, scientific knowledge and resources including annual editions of the TLVs® and BEIs® book and work practice guides. College students in safety programs can access ACGIH resources at no cost. Visit
APOSHO is an international body comprised of non-profit and professional organizations dedicated to promoting occupational safety and health (OSH) practices in the Asia Pacific Region. APOSHO’s objectives are to promote and enhance understanding, cooperation, and networking in areas related to OSH awareness and practices the region. Visit
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and BCSP collaborate on improving occupational safety and health at construction workplaces throughout the United States by sharing best practices and education resources. Visit
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) provides an outline of the elements of an exemplary safety program as part of the Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) Safety Management Best Practices, which often includes BCSP certification sponsors. AGC offers scholarships, including those funded by BCSP, to SH&E college students. Visit
BCSP and Dale Carnegie (DC) offer a leadership training course just for safety professionals. The BCSP + DC course is a live, online interactive program delivered by instructors with SH&E experience. The Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) encourages the development of leaders in SH&E practice through advocacy of internationally recognized BCSP certifications. BCSP supports JEA and advances the profession in the region, sharing subject matter experts (SMEs), and JEA promotes BCSP certification to its members, including through available discounts. Visit
The Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) and BCSP maintain a collaborative relationship, committing to use their expertise, technology, and resources to increase access to certifications and educational opportunities to advance safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) practice. Visit
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and BCSP work together to reach a diverse group of stakeholders, encourage formal recognition and use of certification, and participate in events where safety and health are addressed as part of construction practice. Visit
The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA) collaborates with BCSP to improve occupational safety and health at workplaces throughout the United States. BCSP and VPPPA share information on best practices to ensure safety, VPPPA has sponsored BCSP career fairs for safety professionals, and is an Affiliate for the BCSP Global Learning Summit. Visit
