The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the National Safety Council (NSC) are combining efforts to deliver a global, state-of-the-art pre-exam training through an online asynchronous approach with examCORE by BCSP.
This partnership provides an opportunity to reach a larger market that desires the best training possible at an affordable price. The trusted brands of both organizations stand behind the training to such an extent that a training extension and a training guarantee are offered.
BCSP examCORE is an interactive, online pre-exam training program that supports safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) practitioners’ professional development. BCSP examCORE addresses the knowledge and skills found in BCSP certification examination blueprints, covering SH&E topics necessary for certification and identified as essential by industry leaders.
The training will include access to Dr David Yates’ eBook, The Safety Professional’s Reference and Guide, as well as the calculator needed for exam day. BCSP’s CEO, Dr. Treasa Turnbeaugh, CSP, ASP, CET, FASSP, CAE, stated, “BCSP is honored to partner with NSC in the delivery of this adaptive learning training. This training allows the candidate to study at their own pace and practice with exercises and simulated exams to increase their knowledge comprehension and confidence level to prepare them to succeed on exam day.”
Kim Shambrook, Vice President of Safety Education, Training and Services at the National Safety Council, said, “NSC is committed to enhancing our focus on workplace safety, and this partnership is helping to assure competent and prepared safety professionals are leading the way in industry.“
