During the 2003 season, 10 deaths occurred in the U.S. involving display setup and execution.

Take your safe workplace practices home with you! According to data collected by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), an average of 230 firework-related injuries occur near the Fourth of July. In 2014, nine people were killed from firework-related accidents. Most of the injuries are burns that occur on hands, face, eyes, and ears. In 2016, fireworks were involved in approximately 11,100 injuries during the calendar year in the U.S.
