Certificants’ recertification cycles have been adjusted to run from July 1 to June 30 instead of from January 1 to December 31.
Recertification worksheets may now be submitted on or before their new due date of July 31. Beginning in 2020, they may be submitted from December 31 through July 31.
With this change we hope to remove any confusion that may occur with the renewal fee due date, which remains at the beginning of the calendar year. We also know the end of the year is a busy time for many people, so we hope to ease some stress with this recertification cycle change.
Recertification cycles continue to run five years, however, current certificants’ cycle length will be adjusted as a result of this change. These adjusted recertification cycle dates will be sent to certificants via email.
